ABOUT CHRIS

     After 35 years representing clients, Chris pivoted his practice to focus solely as an independent neutral for alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services.  Chris has worked for several years as an arbitrator and certified independent hearing examiner. He is also a certified mediator. Currently, Chris serves as an arbitrator through AAA, FINRA, and FMCS.
    Before his exclusive ADR practice, Chris worked as an associate with a large Midwestern law firm, then as in-house labor counsel with a major telecom, and later several years as a solo practitioner.  For decades, he has handled a full range of workplace issues on both sides of the bar.  Chris has represented individual employees from hourly workers to senior executives, as well as small and large employers.  He has personally handled hundreds of hearings and arbitrations, as well as trials in state and federal courts.  
    Chris is board certified in labor & employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  And for more than 10 years, Chris has served as an original member of the advisory board to Wolters Kluwer “Labor & Employment Daily” – a premiere, national daily reporting service of developments in workplace law.
    Although Chris has spent most of his professional life working on labor and employment matters, he also has experience in many other areas of the law.  Please see a detailed list of his areas of experience in the “Industries & Issues Experience” page of this website.  Chris can help you resolve your dispute even if it's not employment-related.
    Chris is also a military veteran and encourages you to donate to charities that support disabled vets and first responders.  He grew up in the Midwest and now lives in the Texas Hill Country near a famous BBQ joint not too far from Austin.
